LARGE NEW "OVERFLOW" CAR PARK NOW OPERATIONAL AT WELLS STATION
VISIT "CHRISTINE'S BUFFET BAR" AT WELLS STATION.
Throughout the day refreshments are available from ''Christine's'' buffet bar next to the signal box. As well as breakfast, there is a wide range of home made cakes and pastries, hot and cold drinks, fresh cut sandwiches and icecreams. Fresh local crab and prawns are always popular and can be served as a plated salad or in a sandwich. You can even treat yourself to a clotted cream tea in the afternoon. "Christine's" opening times are from 8:00 am until the last train.
The "COASTHOPPER" bus service operated by NORFOLK GREEN, from KINGS LYNN to CROMER, passes the WELLS STATION entrance 7 days a week.
If requested the bus will drop off, or pick up passengers at the bus stop close to the station entrance. There is also a bus service from NORWICH (the X29) which goes to WELLS via FAKENHAM and the nearest stop to the railway is about 300 yards from the WELLS STATION entrance. FARES 2010
ADULT RETURN - £8.00, CHILD RETURN - £6.50
ADULT SINGLE - £6.50, CHILD SINGLE - £5.00
Please note that we have no card payment facilities. The fares should be paid in cash to the guard when you have boarded the train. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the stated departure time, as the train must leave on time to maintain punctual running to the published timetable.
Children under the age of 4 years travel free. Child fares apply from 4 to 14 years of age .
'Special trains' are available for hire most evenings during the season. Timings are made to suit the hirer and it provides a really great and different evening out. Group hire enquiries should be made at the Signal Box .
